SB 2515 – Prohibits any on-duty or off-duty law enforcement officer from utilizing any unmanned aerial vehicle, robot, or police robot dog, whether armed or unarmed, within the scope of their employment. Prohibits police departments from purchasing or procuring any unmanned aerial vehicles, robots, or police robot dogs. View the Bill
SB 2518 – Provides that original equipment manufacturers of agricultural equipment must provide independent service providers repair information and tools to maintain and repair electronics of the agricultural equipment, including unmanned aircraft systems. View the Bill
HB 7505 – Prohibits any on-duty or off-duty law enforcement officer from utilizing any armed robot, police polit dog, or unmanned aerial vehicle within the scope of their employment. View the Bill
HB 7535 – Requires original equipment manufacturers of electronics-enabled agricultural equipment, including unmanned aircraft systems, to provide independent service providers repair information and tools to maintain and repair electronics of the agricultural equipment. View the Bill
H 6141 - For electronics-enabled agricultural equipment, including unmanned aircraft systems, provides that an original manufacturer shall make available on fair and reasonable terms the equipment’s documentation, parts, and tools, inclusive of any updates to information or embedded software, for purposes of diagnosis, maintenance, or repair of such equipment, to any independent repair provider or to the owner of equipment manufactured by the original manufactured. H 6298 - Prohibits any on-duty or off-duty law enforcement officer from utilizing any robot, police robot dog, or unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV), whether armed or unarmed, within the scope of their employment. Establishes that no department that employs peace officers shall receive any public or private funding for the purchase or procurement of any UAVs or robots. View the Bill

H 5292 - This act would grant authority in the state of Rhode Island, to the exclusion of municipalities, to regulate unpiloted aerial vehicles. View the Bill
H 5293 - This resolution would create an eleven (11) member special legislative study commission whose purpose it would be to study and make recommendations for the regulation of drones and unmanned aerial vehicles in Rhode Island, and who would report back to the House no later than January 6, 2016, and whose life would expire on April 6, 2016. H 5453 - This act would establish registration requirements and operational restrictions for unpiloted aerial vehicles, remotely piloted aircraft and unmanned aircraft systems, and would criminalize the invasion of privacy by use of such aircraft. View the Bill
